(WEST LAFAYETTE, IN) - The Purdue Boilermakers will likely be without starting running back Jaycen Taylor for the rest of the season.
Taylor left Purdue's 45-22 win over Central Michigan Saturday in the first quarter with a broken left arm.
Head Coach Joe Tiller commented after Saturday's game that Taylor will have surgery and that the junior will be eligible for a medical redshirt.
Taylor beat out Kory Sheets for the starting job in spring practice.
