(SOUTH BEND, IN) - Notre Dame has spent the week going back to basics as the 0-and-3 Fighting Irish get ready to play 3-and-0 Michigan State at Notre Dame Stadium this Saturday.
The Irish are coming off a 38-0 shutout loss to Michigan at the big house in Ann Arbor last Saturday as the offense continued to struggle.
Notre Dame has yet to find the end zone on offense this season and ranks last in the nation total offense, rushing and sacks allowed. Head Coach Charlie Weis responded by holding training camp over again this week.
The Spartans have won five in a row in South Bend.
