(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - IndyCar series champion Dario Franchitti insists he has not made a decision regarding his future.
The 2007 Indianapolis 500 winner was at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on Tuesday for the series' championship celebration.
Several reports have Franchitti jumping to the NASCAR Nextel Cup Series next season where he would drive for Chip Ganassi in the number-40 Dodge, replacing South Bend native David Stremme in that car.
Franchitti has always had one-year deals with Andretti Green Racing, the latest of which is up December first.
Despite the reports, Franchitti says he is still "up in the air" about which series he will participate in next year.
