(ANN ARBOR, MI) - The Michigan Wolverines will be without starting quarterback Chad Henne Saturday when they host The Fighting Irish of Notre Dame.
Michigan officials would not disclose the nature of Henne's injury, but Head Coach Lloyd Carr did say his availability was "week to week".
Henne was knocked out of Michigan's 39-7 loss to Oregon last Saturday with what is reported to be a lower leg injury. Freshman Ryan Mallett will start against the Irish.
The two winningest programs in college football history enter Saturday's contest sporting 0-and-2 records.
