(MUNCIE, IN) - Ball State defensive end Brandon Crawford was named the Mid-American Conference West Division Defensive Player of the Week while punter Chris Miller won Special Teams Player of the Week honors.
Crawford had a career-high ten tackles, four for a loss, and two sacks in the Cardinals' 27-23 win at Western Michigan last Saturday.
Miller, who leads the nation in punting at more than 47 yards per kick, punted ten times against the Broncos, averaging 45.3 yards per kick. Five of those ten punts pinned Central Michigan inside their own 20 yard line.
The Cardinals are on the road Saturday as they face 5-and-3 Illinois.
