(WEST LAYFAYETTE) - In West Lafayette, the Boilermakers got back on the winning track as they defeated Iowa 31-6.
Curtis Painter led the Boilermakers by throwing for 315 yards and three touchdowns. Dorien Bryant had a career afternoon by recording nine receptions for 167 yards and two scores.
It was the fewest points the Boilers had given up to the Hawkeyes since a shutout victory in 1976.
