(KNOXVILLE, TN)- Indianapolis Colts quarterback Peyton Manning can add another award to his personal collection.
The University of Tennessee College of Communication and Information has awarded the horseshoe signal caller with it's highest honor-- the 2007 Donald g. Hileman Distinguished Alumni Award. The award is named after the first permanent dean of the College of Communications.
The former Tennessee football star earned a bachelor's degree in speech communication in 1997.
Manning serves as president of the Peyback Foundation, which provides disadvantaged youth with opportunities such as a Disney cruise for hundreds of children in Indianapolis, New Orleans, and Knoxville.
