(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Colts officially ended Rob Morris’ season on Thursday, placing the veteran linebacker on injured reserve.
Morris underwent surgery on Tuesday to repair a tendon in his left knee.
The Colts replaced Morris on the active roster by activating linebacker Victor Worsley. Worsley has spent the first month of the season on the Colts' practice squad.
The Colts welcomed two players back to practice on Thursday. Starting left tackle Tony Ugoh and reserve linebacker Clint Session participated in all of Thursday's workout.
Seven players remain sidelined by various injuries. Starters Marvin Harrison, Joseph Addai, Freddy Keiaho and Bob Sanders sat out practice as did reserves Roy Hall, TJ Rushing and Ben Utecht.
Head Coach Tony Dungy says he is not counting on any of those seven to play this Sunday and that if one or two could go, it would be a bonus.
