(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Indiana Pacers return to the practice floor as training camp continues this afternoon at Conseco Fieldhouse.
Head Coach Jim O'Brien gave the team Sunday off, the first day off since training camp began last Tuesday.
The first week of camp has been marked by plenty of running and conditioning drills as O'Brien tries to get his new team acclimated to his up-tempo, running style. He is also trying to get the franchise back on track.
After recording a team-record 61 wins four years ago, the Pacers have seen their win total go down each succeeding year. They bottomed out last season with 35 wins and released Head Coach Rick Carlisle.
The Pacers open the preseason on Wednesday night when they host the New Orleans Hornets. The regular season begins October 31st when the Washington Wizards are at the Fieldhouse.
