(WEST LAFAYETTE, IN) - The Purdue Boilermakers go for their first 6-and-0 start in 64 years Saturday when they host the fourth-ranked Ohio State Buckeyes.
The Boilers are ranked 20th in the latest USA Today coaches' poll following last Saturday's 33-9 win over Notre Dame. The Buckeyes have won a school-record 23-straight regular season games.
Purdue and Ohio State have not met on the gridiron since 2004 when the Boilers snapped a three-game losing streak against the Buckeyes with a 24-17 win at Ross-Ade Stadium.
The winner of Saturday's game becomes bowl-eligible.
