(EAST LANSING) - The Indiana Hoosiers were looking to become bowl eligible Saturday as they faced the Michigan State Spartans in East Lansing Saturday.
The Spartans had other plans as they blew out the Hoosiers by a score of 52-27.
The loss drops the Hoosiers to 5-2 overall as they'll have to wait another week to accomplish their goal of making themselves eligible for a bowl bid.
The Hoosiers return to action next Saturday to host the Nittany Lions of Penn State in Bloomington.
