(UNDATED) - The Notre Dame Fighting Irish are riding high following their victory last Saturday over UCLA in Pasadena.
The win snapped one of the longest losing streaks in school history.
With the weight finally off of their shoulders, the Irish return to action today to face another nationally ranked foe: the Boston College Eagles.
The Eagles are 6-0 and ranked fourth in the country. A week ago Boston College defeated Bowling Green 55-24.
The Irish have dropped five of the last six meetings between the two schools, including three of the last four at Notre Dame Stadium.
Despite the recent stretch of losses to the Eagles, the Irish lead the all-time series with nine wins, to seven losses.
