(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Indianapolis Colts returned to practice Wednesday to begin getting ready for Sunday’s showdown with the Jacksonville Jaguars at the RCA Dome.
The Colts are 9-and-2 and have a one-game lead over 8-and-3 Jacksonville in the AFC South. A Colts win would give the horseshoes a two-game lead and the tiebreaker over the Jags with four games remaining.
There is an outside shot that the Colts could clinch a playoff spot on Sunday. The NFL says there are two scenarios in which the Colts would make the playoffs this weekend.
First, with an Indianapolis win, a Buffalo loss or tie in Washington, a Tennessee loss at home to Houston and a Denver loss or tie at Oakland.
The second scenario consists of a Colts win combined with a Bills loss or tie, a Titans loss and a San Diego loss or tie in Kansas City.
