(BLOOMINGTON, IN) - With the quest for the elusive sixth win out of the way, the Indiana Hoosiers try to improve their chances for receiving a postseason bowl bid Saturday when they face the Northwestern Wildcats in Evanston.
The Hoosiers became bowl eligible with a 38-20 win over Ball State at Memorial Stadium, but six wins does not guarantee a bowl berth in a wild college football season.
The Hoosiers are the seventh team in the Big Ten alone to become bowl eligible with Northwestern, Iowa and Michigan State on the verge of eligibility with five wins each.
Saturday is senior day for the Wildcats, who are coming off a 28-17 loss to Iowa last weekend at Ryan Field.
