(BLOOMINGTON) - Indiana University placekicker Austin Starr is the Big Ten special teams player of the week.
Starr's 49-yard field goal with 30 seconds remaining gave the Hoosiers a 27-24 win over Purdue on Saturday. It is the first time Indiana has claimed the old oaken bucket from the rival Boilermakers since 2001.
The 49-yarder matched his career long. It is the second time this season that Starr has won player of the week honors.
