(INDIANAPOLIS) - The Indiana Pacers were in action last night at Conseco Fieldhouse taking on Shaquille O’Neal and the Miami Heat.
The game was tight throughout, but after being down by seven points down the stretch the Pacers went on a 12-3 run the rest of the way en route to the victory.
Forward Danny Granger led four Pacer players in double-figures with 25 points and nine rebounds. Ike Diogu scored 16 points from off the bench, and Mike Dunleavy chipped in with 15 points of his own for the Pacers, who improve to 2-0 on the season with the win.
Veteran forward Jermaine O'Neal, making his regular season debut, had a solid outing with 10 points, nine rebounds, and seven assists.
Indiana will return to action tomorrow evening to face Lawrence North and Ohio State product: Mike Conley Jr. and the Memphis Grizzlies.
