(NEW ORLEANS, LA) - The Indiana Pacers snapped a three-game road losing streak with a 105-93 win over the New Orleans Hornets.
Troy Murphy scored a season-high 23 points, Danny Granger added 22 and Jamaal Tinsley finished with 18 points and 13 assists as the pacers won for just the second time in their last nine games.
David West led the Hornets with 23 points and former Pacer Peja Stojakovic finished with 17.
Both teams played shorthanded. Indiana was missing Jermaine O'Neal, who sat out the game after hurting his left knee in Tuesday night's loss against the Lakers. New Orleans was without center Tyson Chandler, who hyperextended his knee in the Hornets' Monday night loss to Orlando.
Indiana also contained the Hornets' star guard Chris Paul. Paul was back after missing the Orlando game with a sprained ankle. Paul scored just eight points but dished out ten assists.
The Pacers improve to 5-and-7 and return home Friday night to face the Dallas Mavericks.
