(PENN STATE) - The Penn State Nittany Lions defeated Purdue 26-19 Saturday.
The game got off to a great start for the Boilers as senior wide-out Dorien Bryant returned the opening kick-off 98-yards for a touchdown. Unfortunately it was the only time a Purdue player would find the end zone.
The Nittany Lions gained 251 total yards on the ground, compared to just 68 for the Boilermakers.
In a losing effort, Curtis painter completed 27 of 48 passes for 255 yards; he had no touchdowns and was sacked four times.
