(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Indiana Fever named Lin Dunn as the WNBA franchise’s fourth head coach.
Dunn succeeds Brian Winters, whose contract was not renewed following the 2007 season. Dunn has 525 career wins as a head coach in both college and the pros. She spent nine seasons as the head coach at Purdue, leading the Boilermakers to three big ten championships and the women's final four in 1994.
She was the first head coach and general manager of the Seattle Storm of the WNBA, running the expansion franchise from 1999 through 2002. She joined the Fever as an assistant coach in 2004.
