(BLOOMINGTON) - The Indiana Hoosiers defeated Coppin State Saturday by a score of 73-46 at Assembly Hall.
The Hoosiers struggled early and led by just two points after one half of play, but they outscored the Eagles by 25 in the second half to preserve the win.
The Hoosiers were led by D.J White who scored a game high 21 points and pulled down eight rebounds. Eric Gordon also chipped in with 15 points, and Mike White scored 10 for the Hoosiers, who improve to 10-1 overall with the victory.
The Eagles were led by senior guard Tywain McKee, who scored 16 points and was the lone Eagle to score in double-figures.
Indiana returns to action next Saturday, when they face Chicago State in Bloomington, the final tune-up before Big Ten play.
