(BLOOMINGTON, IN) - The Indiana Hoosiers are back home tonight to face Tennessee State.
Tonight's game is the first of five in a row at Assembly Hall for Indiana.
The Hoosiers improved to 6-and-1 Saturday night with a 64-51 win at number-22 Southern Illinois, snapping the Saluki's 15-game home winning streak. It was the first time IU has defeated a nationally ranked team on the road since they won at Iowa in January of 2002.
The Tigers have been off since November 18th, when they fell to Akron by two points at the top of the World Classic in Anchorage. Tennessee State is 2-and-3 on the season. It is the first ever meeting between the Hoosiers and the Tigers.
Tennessee state is a member of the Ohio Valley Conference. IU is 15-and-0 all-time against OVC schools.
