(BLOOMINGTON, IN) - Indiana University Basketball Coach Kelvin Sampson says he expects star freshman Eric Gordon to play Saturday when the Hoosiers face Kentucky.
The 2007 Indiana Mister Basketball left Monday night's win over Tennessee State late in the first half after landing hard on the floor. Gordon suffered a bruised tailbone on the play.
Sampson said that Gordon was doing better and that he spent most of Wednesday's walkthrough doing plenty of shooting.
The Indianapolis native was held to eight points against Tennessee State. It was the first time he was held under 21 points in his college career.
