(BEDFORD) - The BNL Lady Stars’ winning streak was broken as they hosted Martinsville last night.
Martinsville took the Lady Stars in a competitive yet decisive game, 44-58. The Lady Stars trailed during the entire matchup and were plagued by poor passing and missed shots.
Perry led the Lady Stars in scoring with 13, but came 6 points shy of Martinsville's best basket weaver who chipped in 19 points.
Last night's loss puts BNL at 6-2 on the season. The Lady Stars look to bounce back when they host Washington this Saturday with tip-off scheduled for 1:00pm. Tune in for all of the action with Myron Rainey and crew on your station to the Stars, 1340 AM WBIW.
