(BEDFORD) - The Bedford North Lawrence Lady Stars won a hard fought game over the rival Mitchell Lady Bluejackets, 72-66.
Amanda Anderson led the Stars in scoring with 19 points. Second in scoring for the Stars was Miranda Mann who chipped in 17 points.
The Mitchell Lady Bluejackets were led in scoring by Natalie Morris who scored 21 points.
This game puts a big decision in the records of both ladies teams whom have had nothing but stellar overall records this season. The Lady Stars are now at 9-2 and the Mitchell Lady Bluejackets hold at 6-5 on the season.
Earlier in the evening the BNL Lady Stars junior varsity team defeated the Mitchell Lady Bluejackets, 37-31.
Up next for the BNL Lady Stars is a trip to Scottsburg on January 5th. The Mitchell Lady Bluejackets will travel to Salem on January 3rd to face the Lions.
