(CLEVELAND, OH) - The Cleveland Cavaliers snapped a six-game losing streak with a 118-105 win over the Indiana Pacers.
Larry Hughes scored a season-high 36 points off the bench. Lebron James, who missed Cleveland's last five games with a finger injury, surprisingly came off the bench to score 17 points. It is the first time James played in a game he did not start in his four-year professional career.
Zydrunas Ilgauskas also had 17 points for Cleveland as the Cavaliers recorded season highs in points and shooting percentage, hitting 55-percent of their shots from the field.
Mike Dunleavy led the Pacers with 23 points and Jermaine O'Neal added 18 as Indiana fell back under .500 at 10-and-11. The Pacers were shorthanded in the paint as both Jeff Foster and David Harrison missed the game with back ailments.
Cleveland took over the game when James entered with just under six minutes remaining in the first quarter. The Cavs proceeded to score the next 13 points and finished the quarter on a 22-5 run to take a 21-point lead.
The Pacers trimmed the lead to ten late in the second quarter, but the Cavaliers pushed the lead back to 16 at halftime. The Pacers would trail by as many as 25 points in the third quarter.
Tuesday night's game was the first of five games over seven days for the blue-and-gold. They return home to host the Chicago Bulls this evening. The Bulls are coming off a 123-96 win over Seattle last night at the United Center.
