(AUBURN HILLS, MI) - The Indiana Pacers and the Detroit Pistons open a home-and-home series this evening at the palace of Auburn Hills.
The Pacers are 15-and-14 and are coming off a 107-95 loss to the Hawks Wednesday night in Atlanta.
The Pistons own the second-best record in the NBA at 21-and 7 and have won six games in a row. Detroit is 11-and-2 at the Palace this season.
The Pacers could be shorthanded again tonight. Forward Jermaine O'Neal may take the night off to rest his balky left knee.
O'Neal's pain may speed the return of center David Harrison to the lineup. Harrison did practice on Thursday after missing three games due to back spasms.
The series concludes tomorrow night with a rematch at Conseco Fieldhouse.
