(CLEVELAND) - Jamaal Tinsley will be in the starting lineup tonight as the Pacers face the Cavaliers.
Tinsley spoke to reporters after practice Monday, apologizing for his involvement in a shooting outside the Conrad Hotel in downtown Indianapolis.
Police say a car and a pickup truck followed Tinsley's Rolls-Royce after an argument at the Westside nightclub "Cloud 9".
The vehicles pulled up at the Conrad, and someone opened up on Tinsley's car with an assault rifle. Pacers equipment manager Joey Qatato was hit in both arms.
Head Coach Jim O'Brien says Tinsley made a bad decision, but didn't violate any team rules and won't be disciplined.
O'Brien says he is thankful Tinsley is alive.
