(BEDFORD) - The BNL Stars boys basketball team claimed their first home win of the season against the Seymour Owls Friday night, 62-56.
Chase Spreen led the charge and chipped in 17 points during the matchup. A key turnover by the Owls late in the fourth quarter sealed the deal for the Stars.
The win marks the third victory in a row for the BNL boys as the Stars move to 6-7 on the season.
The Stars hope to keep their winning streak alive when they host the Edgewood Mustangs this Saturday night. Tune in for all of the action on your station to the Stars, 1340 AM WBIW, at 7:15pm Saturday night.
