(WEST LAFAYETTE) - The Purdue Boilermakers did something Saturday they haven’t done since the 2003 season.
Behind 22 points from Marcus Green, the Boilers defeated the Ohio State Buckeyes 75-68 in West Lafayette. The Buckeyes had beaten the Boilers in eight straight contests, a stretch that spans nearly five years.
With the loss, the Buckeyes saw their 19-game conference winning streak snapped.
Keaton Grant scored 14 points, while E'Twaun Moore chipped in with 11 points of his own for the Boilers who improve to 11-5 overall.
The Buckeyes were led by Jamar Butler who scored a game-high 26 points.
