(BEDFORD) - The Lady Stars soared to victory against a unusual sloppy Edgewood Mustang squad, 71-44.
Senior center Megan Burton led the Stars with 20 points. BNL's quick first quarter start was trigged by sophomore Amanda Anderson whose early defensive efforts and quick 6 points got things rolling for the Stars. Anderson would eventually claim 14 points and 4 steals for BNL. Joey Holt added 10 points, five rebounds and three assists in the Stars' victory.
With the win BNL moves to 14-4 on the season and will host Bloomington South Tuesday night. You can hear all of the action starting with our 7:15 pregame on 1340 AM WBIW.
