(BEDFORD) - The Lady Stars 4-game winning streak flamed out on Tuesday night when BNL fell to the Columbus East Olympians, 69-49.
Turnovers played a huge role in the game, especially in the second half. That's when the Lady Stars allowed the Olympians to take command of the game and the Columbus East increased their lead to 14 points at the end of the third quarter.
That third quarter lead then nearly doubled in the fourth as the Lady Stars could never recover from the pacing of Lady Olympians.
The home court loss now puts the Lady Stars at 10-3 on the season.
Up next for BNL is a visit by the Floyd Central Highlanders this Saturday afternoon. You can hear all of the action starting at 2:15pm with Myron Rainey and crew on your station to the Stars, 1340 AM WBIW.
