(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Indianapolis Colts appear to be healthy for the first time this season as they host the San Diego Chargers Sunday in an AFC divisional round playoff game.
Only kick returner TJ Rushing was absent from practice on Wednesday, missing the workout due to illness.
Head Coach Tony Dungy says he expects wide receiver Marvin Harrison to start against the Chargers on Sunday, but was making no guarantees. Harrison practiced two weeks ago and was expected to play in the regular season finale against Tennessee, but was scratched at the last minute. The eight-time Pro Bowl participant missed the final ten games of the season with a knee injury.
Chargers Coach Norv Turner says he is "optimistic" that Antonio Gates will play against the Colts on Sunday. Gates was one of three chargers who did not participate in practice on Wednesday, but the only one with an injury. Gates suffered a dislocated big toe on his left foot in the Chargers' wild card win over Tennessee last Sunday.
Despite Turner's optimism, Gates is not expected to play this weekend at the RCA Dome and could possibly miss the AFC championship game should San Diego advance.
Wide receiver Chris Chambers and defensive tackle Jamal Williams were held out of practice on Wednesday.
