(INDIANAPOLIS) - The Indiana Pacers put forth a valiant effort, but fell to the Sacramento Kings at Conseco Fieldhouse 110-104.
The game marked the return of Ron Artest to Indianapolis, who was playing in only his third game returning from injury.
Three Kings players scored 20 or more points. Leading the way was Mikki Moore who scored a team high 22, followed by Kevin Martin and Beno Udrih who both chipped in with 20 points apiece. Artest came off the bench for the Kings to score 15 points.
The Pacers were led by Danny Granger who scored a game-high 26 points, and Kareem Rush who scored 22.
Jermaine O'Neal did not play in Saturday's game, and will likely sit out the next two weeks as a result of a bone bruise on his left knee.
The loss drops Indiana to 18-23 overall.
