(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Memphis Grizzlies picked up the franchise’s first ever win in Indianapolis as they defeated the Indiana Pacers 90-72.
Pau Gasol scored 30 points as the Grizzlies snapped a five-game losing streak. The Pacers held a one-point lead at halftime, but the Grizzlies took the lead for good when they opened the second half with a 12-2 run.
Rudy Gay finished with 24 points, Mike Miller had 19 points and eleven rebounds and Mike Conley finished with seven points, eight assists, six rebounds and three steals as he returned to his hometown and made his first NBA start.
The Pacers shot a season-low 31-percent from the field in suffering their fifth-straight loss.
Mike Dunleavy led Indiana with 16 points with Troy Murphy adding ten points and 15 rebounds as the Pacers fall three games under .500 at 15-and-18.
It was the first time Indiana failed to score 90 points since losing to Boston seven weeks ago.
The blue-and-gold host the Atlanta Hawks on Friday night before embarking on a five-game western road trip.
