(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - The Indiana Pacers open a four-game Homestand tonight when they welcome the Detroit Pistons to Conseco Fieldhouse.
The Pacers are coming off a four-game road trip which saw the blue-and-gold drop their final three games, including a 98-96 loss Saturday afternoon in Miami. It was the first game the heat have won since December 22nd.
The Pacers have dropped 13 of their last 17 games but despite the cold spell, they remain in eighth place in the Eastern Conference.
Indiana enters tonight's game with a half-game lead over New Jersey for the eighth and final playoff berth in the East. The Nets have lost nine games in a row. Chicago, Milwaukee, Charlotte and Philadelphia are all within two games of the Pacers for that final playoff berth.
The Pistons enter tonight's game riding a two-game winning streak. They are 31-and-13 and hold a six and-a-half game lead over Cleveland for first place in the Central Division.
The Pistons have won their two previous games with Indiana this season.
