(CHICAGO, IL) - The Indiana Pacers’ four-game road trip continues tonight when they face the Chicago Bulls at the United Center.
The Pacers began the trip on a positive note with a 110-103 win at Philadelphia Monday afternoon to improve to 19-and-23. It was just the second road win for the blue-and-gold in their last ten games away from Conseco Fieldhouse.
The Bulls are 16-and-24 and trail the Pacers by two games in the race for the eighth and final playoff berth in the Eastern Conference.
The Pacers beat the Bulls in the first meeting between the teams this season, knocking off Chicago 117-102 December 12th at the Fieldhouse.
The Pacers will be working again without Jermaine O'Neal again this evening. The Pacers' big man will miss at least two weeks, probably more, with a bone bruise on his balky left knee.
Monday's win at Philadelphia was the ninth game Indiana has played without the former all-star. They have gone 6-and-3 in the games O'Neal has missed compared with going 13-and-20 with O'Neal in the lineup. The Pacers give up more points without O'Neal in action, but they score more, averaging 109 points without O'Neal compared to 104 with him in the lineup.
