(BLOOMFIELD) - The BNL Stars dominated the Thunderbirds of Eastern Greene Saturday night, 58-35.
Coming off a close victory against Jeffersonville Friday night, the Stars were led by senior Chase Spreen who contributed 19 points in the Stars impressive victory. Ason Hacker came in a close second with 13 points and Braden Knight hustled off the bench to claim 11 points of his own. Eastern Greene players David McNeal, Ben Arthur, David Russell and David Gray evened out with 6 points each.
Earlier in the evening the junior varsity Stars team dominated the evening's first matchup, claiming a 36-17 victory against the Thunderbirds.
The BNL varsity team moves to an even 8-8 on the season and will now prepare to host the Floyd Central Highlanders this Friday night. You can hear all of the action starting with the 7:15pm pregame on your station to the Stars, 1340 AM WBIW.
