(JEFFERSONVILLE) - The BNL Stars claimed victory over the Jeffersonville Red Devils, 56-53, this past Friday night.
BNL lead each quarter of the matchup but a late Jeffersonville surge put sweat on the Stars' brows when the Red Devils squeezed BNL's leading margin to only 3 points by the end of the 3rd quarter.
Seniors Chase Spreen and Lucas Nikirk led the BNL charge with Chase tossing in 21 points and Nikirk chipping in 11 points of his own. Spreen also grabbed 10 rebounds during the matchup. Edward Baker was the leading scorer for the Red Devils with 15 points.
The win puts BNL at 7-8 on the season. Up next for the boys is a trip to Eastern Greene to face the Thunderbirds. You can hear all of the action this Saturday night when 1340 AM WBIW takes the airwaves at 7:15pm.
