(WEST LAFAYETTE, IN) - Big Ten leader Purdue puts a nine-game winning streak on the line tonight, hosting number-nine Michigan State.
23rd ranked Purdue is 10-and-1 in the Big Ten, and 19-and-five overall, coming off Saturday's upset of number eight Wisconsin. Tonight Purdue gets a chance at redemption, as the Boilers' lone conference loss came by three points at Michigan State January 8th.
Purdue is 13-and-1 at Mackey Arena this season, and a win tonight would give them their first 10-game winning streak since the 1995-1996 Big Ten championship season.
Purdue has never beaten top-ten teams in back-to-back games, which would be accomplished with a win tonight.
