(WEST LAFAYETTE, IN) - The Purdue Boilermakers extended their winning streak to eight games with a 67-53 win over Penn State at Mackey Arena.
Freshmen Robbie Hummel and E'Twaun Moore led the way for the Boilers. Hummel finished with 17 points and Moore tallied 16 as Purdue improves to 13-and-1 at home.
Mike Walker led the Nittany Lions with twelve points as Penn State falls to 11-and-11, 3-and-7 in Big Ten play.
The Boilermakers are now 18-and-5, 9-and-1 in conference play and travel to Madison to face the eighth-ranked Wisconsin Badgers on Saturday night.
