(UNDATED) - Players from state schools cleaned up as conference player of the week winners in men’s basketball were announced on Monday.
Indiana senior DJ White and Purdue freshman E'Twaun Moore are the Big Ten Co-Players of the Week.
White averaged 24 points and 15 rebounds in IU's two games this week - a loss at Wisconsin on Thursday and a victory over Northwestern on Sunday. Moore averaged 18 points in wins over Iowa and Illinois. It is the fourth time White has been named player of the week this season and the fifth time in his career. It is Moore's first player of the week honor.
Notre dame forward Luke Harangody is the Big East Conference Player of the Week. Harangody averaged 30 points and 14 rebounds in Notre Dame's wins over Providence and DePaul last week.
The sophomore out of Andrean high school leads the Big East in scoring and rebounding at 24-point-four points and eleven-point-six rebounds per contest. It is the second time this season Harangody has won player of the week honors.
IUPUI guard Gary Patterson is the Summit League's player of the week. The junior guard averaged 27 points in the Jaguars' wins over Southern Utah and Missouri-Kansas City.
Patterson scored a career-high 37 points and a school-record eleven three-pointers against Southern Utah. For the week, the East Chicago native shot 66-percent from three point range with eight assists and zero turnovers.
