(UNDATED) - Eric Gordon scored 28 points and the Indiana Hoosiers overcame a slow start to beat the Michigan State Spartans 80-61 Saturday night at Assembly Hall.
Indiana improves to 21-4 on the season. Also in the Big Ten, E'Twaun Moore scored a season-high 28 points as Purdue defeated Northwestern 71-56 on Saturday for their 11th straight win.
The Boilers' win streak is their longest since the 1995-96 season, and Purdue has now won 14 out of 15 overall to retain their spot atop the Big Ten standings.
