(BLOOMINGTON) - Indiana University is expected to reveal the results of an MRI taken on center DJ White’s knee sometime today.
White was injured with just under five minutes remaining in the first half of the Hoosiers' 80-61 win over number-nine Michigan State Saturday night at Assembly Hall.
White came down awkwardly while attempting a shot under the basket, landing on the floor and clutching his left leg.
White did not return to the game, but was back on the bench during the second half with ice on the knee.
Following the game, head coach Kelvin Sampson said IU medical officials did not think white suffered ligament damage but felt that White should sit out the second half.
