(INDIANAPOLIS,IN) - The Indiana Pacers are back in action tonight, hosting the team with the NBA ‘s best record.
The Boston Celtics come into Conseco Fieldhouse with a 39-and-nine record. They've won three in a row, including an eight-point win against San Antonio on Sunday, and beat the Pacers 101-86 at Conseco in November.
Meanwhile, the Pacers have their first winning streak since mid-December with wins against New York and Portland. Indiana is 21-and-30, tenth in the Eastern Conference playoff race. The Pacers trail ninth-place Philadelphia by a half game and eighth place New Jersey by one game.
The Pacers have won their last two games without Jermaine O'Neal and Jamaal Tinsley, who will both miss tonight's game. Pacer Mike Dunleavy is questionable after bruising his knee and missing the second half against Portland.
Kevin Garnett, who has missed Boston's last seven games with an abdominal strain, will not play and has pulled out of this weekend's all-star game. The Celtics are 5-and-2 without him.
The Pacers will head to Detroit tomorrow night for their final game before the all-star break.
