(WEST LAFAYETTE) - There is a three-way tie for first place in the Big Ten thanks to #19 Purdue’s 65-53 win over Minnesota.
E'twaun Moore led the Boilermakers with 22 points with Robbie Hummel adding twelve points and a team-high eight rebounds as Purdue recorded its ninth-straight win at Mackey Arena.
Lawrence McKenzie led the Golden Gophers with 13 points with Dan Coleman adding ten points and 13 boards as Minnesota falls to 17-10, 7-8 in the Big Ten.
Purdue moves to 22-6, 13-2 in conference play and a first-place tie with Indiana and Wisconsin. The ninth-ranked Badgers will try to regain a half-game lead tonight when they host #15 Michigan State.
The Boilermakers host Northwestern on Saturday afternoon.
