(BEDFORD) - Senior night at the BNL Fieldhouse ended with a BNL loss to the Franklin Central Flashes Saturday night, 59-55.
The matchup between the two teams was originally scheduled for this past Friday night before it was moved to Saturday night due to winter weather.
The Flashes got off to a good start, despite a reworked starting lineup, and Franklin Central led at the half, 27-20.
The Stars came out of the locker room to take a 42-37 led at the end of the third, but a forth quarter surge led by Franklin Central's Patrick Bade put the Flashes on a 14-2 run to seal the deal.
The Stars were led by Chase Spreen with 29 points, Ason Hacker 13, Lucas Nikirk 5 and Mark Schneider 4. Franklin Central was led by Patrick Bade with 22, Brian Higdon 14, Casey Coons 10 and Joe Talhelm 5.
With the loss BNL moves to 8-12 on the season and will wait to face the top-ranked New Albany Bulldogs Friday in the second Seymour semifinal matchup.
