(SCOTTSBURG) - A solid offense effort by the Scottburg Warriors condemed the BNL Stars, who fell in double overtime, 92-76.
A lackluster defensive effort plagued the Stars, especially in the second overtime. The Stars allowed the Warriors to go on a 18-2 run with under four minutes to go in the matchup.
Scottsburg's Jordan Taylor forced the game into the second overtime when he knocked down a three pointer in the final seconds of the first overtime. Taylor would finish the game with 36 points for the Warriors.
Chase Spreen again led the Stars in baskets, claiming a team-high 36 points. Ason Hackler followed with 20 points and Mark Schneider contributed 6 in the BNL loss.
The Stars move to 8-10 on the season and will face another challenge this Friday night when they travel to New Albany to face the Bulldogs. You can hear all of the action on your station to the Stars, 1340 AM WBIW.
