(WASHINGTON, DC) - The Purdue Boilermakers open play in the NCAA Tournament this afternoon as they face Baylor in Washington, D.C.
The Boilers are the #6 seed in the West region and enter the tournament having lost two of their last three games.
The Bears are the #11 seed and are led by former Valparaiso Head Coach Scott Drew. Baylor also lost two of their final three games.
Purdue sophomore guard Chris Kramer sat out part of Wednesday's practice to rest his sore back. Kramer was injured while taking a charge from Illinois' Brian Randall during Purdue's loss to the Illini last Friday in the Big Ten Tournament.
Kramer is expected to play in this afternoon's NCAA Tournament game against Baylor.
