(WEST LAFAYETTE) - The Purdue Boilermakers host top-seed Tennessee in round two of the NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament tonight at Mackey Arena.
The ninth-seeded Boilermakers are 19-14 and advanced Sunday night with a 66-59 win over number-eight seed Utah in their tournament opener.
After losing four of their final six games during the regular season, Purdue has come alive, winning the Big Ten Tournament in order to make the NCAA's for the 15th consecutive year.
Tennessee is 31-2 and are making their 27th-straight NCAA Tournament appearance.
The Lady Vols are going for their eighth national championship under Pat Summitt, the winningest coach in college basketball history.
