(INDIANAPOLIS, IN) - A Pacers’ spokesman says that outgoing CEO Donnie Walsh has not agreed to join the New York Knicks.
ESPN.com, citing an anonymous source, reported late Monday night that Walsh is expected to sign a three-year, $15-million dollar contract to replace Isiah Thomas as the head of the Knicks basketball operations at the end of the season.
Walsh announced Monday that he would leave the Pacers when his contract expires at the end of the season, but declined to announce any future plans.
Team spokesman David Benner says that Walsh has no deal in place with any other team.
